Standard safety features included antilock braking, traction control, an antiskid system, front-side airbags, and curtain-side airbags. Maximum towing capacity was 1,500 pounds with the four-cylinder and 3,500 pounds with the V6. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive were available on all models. All engines teamed with a six-speed automatic transmission.
